3DM Import for SolidWorks - Rhinoceros 3DM file import add-in for SolidWorks

The Import command imports geometric data from 3DM files into SolidWorks.

To Import a 3DM file

1. Select Import from the 3DMImport menu.

2. The SolidWorks file Open dialog box is displayed. Browse for the 3DM file you wish to import and click Open.

3. The 3DM Import for SolidWorks Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as desired and click Ok.

Note: SolidWorks 2001 and earlier do not support multi-body parts. If the 3DM file comprises of more than one mesh, only the first one will be imported and the others will be ignored.
