3DM Export for SolidWorks - Rhinoceros 3DM file export add-in for SolidWorks


This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with 3DM Export for SolidWorks.


Step 1: Start SolidWorks.

Step 2: Open the file "C:\Program Files\3DM Export for SolidWorks\Samples\Knob.SLDPRT".

Step 3: Select Export from the 3DMExport menu.

Step 4: The SolidWorks Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a 3DM file and click Save.

Step 5: The 3DM Export for SolidWorks Options dialog box is displayed. Move the slider to the desired resolution and click Ok.

The 3DM file will be created in the location you specified.
