     Menu Button       3DMExport > Export

This command tessellates the active SolidWorks part or assembly and exports the resulting meshes to mesh objects in a 3DM file.


To export to a 3DM file

1. Select Export from the 3DMExport submenu.

2. The SolidWorks Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a 3DM file and click Save.

3. The 3DM Export for SolidWorks Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options and click Ok.
