This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with 3DM Export for Bricscad.

 

Step 1: Start Bricscad.

Step 2: Click File > Open from the menu bar. The "Open Drawing" dialog box is displayed. Select the file C:\Program Files\SYCODE\3DS Export for IntelliCAD\Samples\Sample 1.dwg and click Open.

Step 3: Select Export from the 3DMExport menu or type 3DMExport at the Bricscad command prompt and press Enter.

Step 4: At the Select Objects prompt, select the objects you wish to export. Press Enter when done.

Step 5: The Bricscad Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a 3DM file and click Save.

Step 6: The 3DM Export for Bricscad Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as shown below and click OK.

The model will be exported to the 3DM file you specified.
