SYCODE launches eight file import and export add-ins for Solid Edge

Panaji - 22nd Nov, 2006 - SYCODE today launched eight file import and export add-ins for Solid Edge.

"This launch comes close on the heels of our launch of twelve file import and export add-ins for SolidWorks”, explains Deelip Menezes, owner of SYCODE. “We have been quite busy here at SYCODE and we are glad that these product are finally out. These eight file import and export add-ins for Solid Edge will further enhance the data exchange capabilities of Solid Edge. In a world where interoperability seems to be a larger issue that it should be, we hope that our file import and export add-ins help end users across the board.”

There are 4 import and 4 export add-ins. The import add-ins are:
    STL Import for Solid Edge - Stereolithography (.stl) file
    3DS Import for Solid Edge - 3D Studio (.3ds) file
    3DM Import for Solid Edge - Rhinoceros (.3dm) file
    OBJ Import for Solid Edge - Wavefront (.obj) file

The export add-ins are:
    DXF Export for Solid Edge - AutoCAD (.dxf) file
    3DS Export for Solid Edge - 3D Studio (.3ds) file
    3DM Export for Solid Edge - HPGL Plot (.plt) file
    OBJ Export for Solid Edge - Wavefront (.obj) file
