SYCODE launches five new Rhino plug-ins
Panaji - 13th Jun, 2007 - SYCODE today launched five new
plug-ins for Rhinoceros.
"These
new plug-ins are part of our efforts to customize Rhinoceros in order to
serve its customer base even better”, explains Deelip
Menezes, owner of SYCODE. “Some of our existing Rhino plug-ins did
not have support for Rhino 4.0. This has changed. Today, we have added
support for Rhino 4.0 for all our plug-ins. SYCODE is committed to
providing its customers and all Rhino users the maximum possible
flexibility when deciding which software they would like to use. As long
as it is technically possible and feasible, SYCODE will design its Rhino
plug-ins to work with Rhino 3.0 and later.”
The
five new plug-ins are as follows:
(1)
Mesh To Solid for Rhino: This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to
convert a polygon mesh into a solid. It works better than Rhino's
MeshToNurb command in the sense that the resulting solid is mode
simplified. Mesh To Solid for Rhino is priced at 195 USD and can be
downloaded from
http://www.sycode.com/products/mesh_to_solid_rh/index.htm.
(2) NC Import for Rhino: This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to
import a numeric control (NC) program file into Rhino. The plug-in reads
the movement of the tool in the nc program and recreates the toolpath as
a series of curves in the active Rhino drawing. NC Import for Rhino is
priced at 195 USD and can be downloaded from
http://www.sycode.com/products/nc_import_rh/index.htm.
(3)
PIX Import for Rhino: This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to
import a Dr. Picza (PIX) file into Rhino. The plug-in reads the scan
data from a PIX file and recreates the nurbs surface or mesh in Rhino.
PIX Import for Rhino is
priced at 195 USD and can be downloaded from
http://www.sycode.com/products/pix_import_rh/index.htm.
(4) PLT Import for Rhino: This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to
import a HPGL Plot (PLT) file into Rhino. The plug-in reads pen
movements in the PLT file and creates corresponding curves inside the
Rhino drawing. PLT Import for Rhino is
priced at 195 USD and can be downloaded from
http://www.sycode.com/products/plt_import_rh/index.htm.
(5) PLT Export for Rhino: This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to
export to a HPGL Plot (PLT) file. The plug-in reads curves in the active
Rhino drawing and converts them to corresponding pen movements in a PLT file. PLT Export for Rhino is
priced at 195 USD and can be downloaded from
http://www.sycode.com/products/plt_export_rh/index.htm.
Additionally, MeshCAD for Rhino (http://www.sycode.com/products/meshcad_rh/index.htm),
our mesh editing and modeling plug-in for Rhino has been updated to
support Rhino 4.0.
