Item 1: Mesh Boolean Operation

Description |
This is a simple example of a boolean operation (subtraction) carried
out on meshes. Box.3dm is a mesh describing a box having 6 quad faces.
Sphere.3dm is a mesh describing a sphere having 900 faces (840 quads
and 60 triangles). Mesh To Solid was used to convert both the
meshes into ACIS solids, which were later imported into AutoCAD using
the "ACISIN" command. The sphere was then subtracted from the box to
yield a new solid. |

Description |
Mesh To Solid was used to convert this mesh (having 116
triangular faces) into an ACIS solid. The solid was later imported
into AutoCAD and shelled using AutoCAD's solid modeling commands. |
